Pros

This really is a five star hotel company and continues to be through Marriott ownership. They have a genuine concern for the betterment of their employees.

Cons

Being in a "front of the house" position sometimes the hours could get long for salaried employees, which is fine if you are single or no children I believe.

Pros

Teaches you a lot, provides uniforms, the benefits are amazing, and the brand is great.

Cons

The leadership uses you until you have nothing left, way to much favoritism, not loyal to you at all, tells you there is room for promotions but they are full of empty promises and makes you feel replaceable.

Pros

Excellent benefits Excellent support for employees - you always felt like the company had your back Some of the best supervisors and managers that I ever worked for Great work / life balance with plenty of flexible shifts that allowed for a lot of fun Great relationships with other vendors in town

Cons

Corporate had asinine goals for recording guest preferences and issues in an archaic and ridiculously slow system Other properties might not be as great to work for General Manager next door at the hotel was very antagonistic
