Great perks through the Marriott and beyond. Decent benefit package for health.

Cons

Shady tipped employee structure. Your immediate supervisors are part of your tip pool. You are essentially paying your superior so that The Ritz doesn't have to. If you work at a property that is smaller and a shift with lower meal prices but still require the same service and attention to detail.. you're making less than your service industry cohorts in crappy chain restaurants.

Pros

This hotel is always busy so there is always a lot of work to go around. You get to stay at hotels at discounted rates. If you are a manager and you are willing to relocate, you could work anywhere in the world.

Cons

The management revolving door changes policies as they come and go. If you want to stay in one location, favoritism plays a big part in promotions, and sometimes they'll hire from outside without even a development plan to improve your future chances.

Very much promotes a positive work place that is structured. Family life and work balance also top of their priorities.

Cons

Not many to list as the company operates very securely. Just be up front with your needs and availability so your message is crystal clear.
