Pros

Good product portfolio Some senior management are truly professional and encourage local staff to take on new projects

Cons

All senior manager are expatriates. They normally already made up their minds on leadership positions by bringing in expatriates. Just to comply with regulations they advertise through Mycareers futures for one month to satisfy Min of Manpower requirements.

Pros

A lot of focus on health, safety and environment aspects. Great benefits and pay.

Cons

Not a good place for young IT professionals who are looking to develop and do cool things, you won't find that in IS&T group in Rio Tinto. Their IT group is highly dysfunctional and hard to get real impactful job done. Work-life balance suffers.
