Pros

Great lower level employees, so much knowledge! Lots of PTO 401k match up to 5% Okay medical coverage, you can opt into dental and vision on your plan

Cons

-High turnover: Richemont has shown they can hire great people. However once hired they have trouble listening to them and taking their advice. Currently having a high turnover rate at the technical center due to poor management. -Safety violations: They have gotten fined from OSHA for safety violations. They were told by employees that things weren't right. It is a large company and it takes SOOOooo long for things to get done or change. -Compensation: Yearly increases do not keep up with the cost of living. They have recently started to implement bonuses for the lower level employees. However, with their current model, the higher level bonus will be unattainable for almost all employees. -Management style: Overall management environment feels hostile toward employees. There is not a "what do you need to do your job and feel comfortable?" attitude. There has been a recent decision that management feels it is okay to require employees to work Saturday OT with extremely short notice. If you have already made plans they will not reimburse you for any travel expenses you may have already incurred. And if you *really* cannot work they make you use one of your PTO days.

Pros

401k is pretty good but not great. Vacation time is good, but being told when you can use it kind of ruins the charm.

Cons

The raises are crap. Period. Anyone can look at the numbers and see that 2%/yr isn't a raise, but a step backwards. This is the root of why people are leaving. So, you've created a system where watchmakers with decades of experience have to lay out the parts for a movement on a diagram of a movement that they have done literally thousands of times, and expect it to raise productivity? How does that extra ten minutes raise productivity or quality? If the raises were repaired, we would be willing to put up with the sillyness. Tool layouts- we work faster and better with what works for us. It's that simple.
