Pros

Red Hat is a special place, with many special people working there and a very special company culture. Open source is the core of its business and if you like an open culture and environment, Red Hat is the place for you.

Cons

Working outside of the HQ can sometimes feel to work in a satellite office, you are more or a receiver of orders from the HQ than the center. Also the culture has changed a lot the last years with share holder value being the top priority. Also they don't pay as much as competitors.

Pros

Unique office and great cafe

Cons

Change is rapid not allowing for solid execution and leaves incomplete work in its wake. Too many things left unbaked and projects churn ineffectively. Culture isn't the best when grooming the company for efficient growth
