Pros
The pros of this company are a great benefits package. up to 3 weeks vacation with 12 holidays, company vehicle, and terrific insurance coverage. You also have access to a great expense account and will get to experience the branded events if they hit your market
Cons
The common joke around the office is "welcome to the world of red bull" meaning, say goodbye to your social life, normal business practices, and your feeling of adequacy. To start out, the position of Musketeer is not a 9-5. its a 8am-1am job. No more weekends, holidays, and nights to take care of your personal life. They will suck everything they can out of you and write it off as love of the brand. This company HABITUALLY micro manages. Having to "check in" every morning with your superior to more trackers than you can even count. If you make ANY sort of business decision it is recorded in duplicate. In an effort to remain tech savvy they have unveiled an IPAD app. 3 months after roll out the app still causes far more problems than solutions. It serves as a GPS tracker for your person as well as for when and how long you are in each account. On top of recording into the ipad your activity you must also record it in a tracker form. They preach about the experiences you get, and you are the local face of the global brand. It isn't true. You are a sales rep. You have a case goal and POS goals as well there is nothing different about this position as they try to pass off. you only conduct events as they are handed to you. Creativity is great but credit will be passed upward for any original ideas that you generate. Finally there is always a battle to fight, good days are seldom seen. Red Bull image guidelines and route to market are so precise and unwavering that you can never truly succeed. Coolers must face a certain direction, this type of print can't be displayed in this type of account etc. etc. Its is a never ending headache. Strongly encourage any parties interested to look elsewhere. I have worked with several fortune 500 companies and this one is by far the worst experience I have ever had.
