Work Hard Play Hard!

Pros

Pushed to meet and exceed expectations in a motivational way, as well as compensated for it. If you are invested in your business, and your people/team, you will succeed. Great compensation plan, work/planning flexibility, local & regional management are invested and involved in day to day business of branches. Lots of support, best practices shared and recognition of small and large accomplishments.

Cons

Some of the measurements of weekly expectations are not necessarily what drives business. Leadership sometimes focuses on details that will not drive our business forward, and just creates noise & distraction, or is often never discussed again, which is a waste of time (& money!)

Pros

There are no pros unless there is absolutely no other way to obtain a job. Even if I was desperate for a job and unemployed for 3 years straight I would never return to this agency. EVER. Even if they had something lined up right away I would pass over working with such a bad agency.

Cons

Company they hired me for is having layoffs as they are moving overseas. When given our 60 day notice we were all told they would help us with new opportunities. Low and behold they were not willing to help let alone respond to anyone in a timely manner. It is clear that for the duration of our company they will not help relocate us to a new position as it would be more difficult for them to replace us. Which in my opinion is very unethical.

It's a Grind

Pros

You will feel a close relationship with the people you work with. You bonus as a branch Everyone works towards the same goal

Cons

You bonus as a branch. This can be a good or bad thing. If you are not selling accounts then it is good for you. If you are selling accounts, you will have to pull the weight of the branch. You have to sell and manage the accounts which are all great things....until you realize that you have to answer the phone and listen to why people don't want to go to work, fix their pay roll and do every other administrative task that you can think of. Heavy emphasis on new accounts which doesn't give you enough time to focus on growing existing accounts which could ultimately help grow branch GM$ and help you get to your bonus. Very numbers driven...which is fine...if you weren't the secretary to everyone.
