If you care about mental health - think twice about applying for Randstad
Pros
Pay is average although there are yearly reviews so normally goes up at the start of the year, as well as a yearly bonus. Hybrid working - subject to changes depending on needs of business
Cons
Dreadful management who set up constant team meetings and 1 to 1 reviews just to tick off some boxes, absolutely no consideration for their employees as nothing raised during these meetings ever changes! Pretty high turnover - except the people who have now become furniture believing the lies of the management team who lead people to believe they will progress but never do, they will have you doing the role of a manager whilst being paid for a payroll controller position. Cliquey environment, unless your part of the group you'll be on the receiving end of the constant micro aggressions, micro managing and snarky comments, managers have a groupchat where they talk crap about everyone. Ageist and racist - depending on what you look like and how well you can speak in English will be a reflection of how you are treated by people. The job is advertised as Payroll Controller but more than likely you will end up doing Admin answering calls and emails all day. Nothing short of a nightmare, if you want to keep your sanity don't apply for Randstad.
