Pros

Job security, 9/80 schedule let you take every other friday off. Good place to work if 9 to 5 work schedule is your ambition in life.

Cons

Outdated working environment (aged furniture from 80s, conference room with no projector abound, tacky interior, unbearable cafeteria food, etc.), lack of innovation, weak engineering/mangement leadership, mid level experienced engineers are scarce.

Pros

Work 9 days and get every Friday off. Flexible work schedule. Good place to work if you are starting a family.

Cons

Promotion based on popularity and years of service. Need to work 60+ hours a week to get an F rating. Your section manager has no idea what you are doing.

Frustrating

Pros

Government contractor, large company, relocation opportunities. Raytheon offers a wide variety of jobs and fields. Pay raises for time spent with the company, determined by the government.

Cons

Terrible HR department. They are impossible to get a hold of and will never call you back. Company is so large that it is managed from thousands of miles away. Took MONTHS to go through the hiring process
