      Not what I would call a positive experience

      Pros

      The pay is ok and the benefits are good.

      Cons

      The company is in a downward spiral. Layoffs once or twice a year. Business is shrinking. RSA got booted from Gartner's magic quadrant right around the time of NetWitness acquisition and hasn't been there since. The products are completely uncompetitive. Good engineers and managers are leaving in droves. The worst thing is compete lack of sense of accomplishment. You can't get anything done at RSA. People in leadership have either flawed vision or no vision at all.

      Pros

      RSA has some of the best security products on the market. RSA is continuously strives to improve their product line with market leading features and enhancements. Their in house support is exceptional and their account teams are focused on strengthening customer relationships.

      Cons

      RSA is actively engaged in outsourcing services to 3rd party vendors and has largely eliminated hundreds of positions across the entire business. The process has been ongoing for 2 years and it may not be complete. If you are looking for a job, you should consider if your position could be outsourced to a 3rd party.

      Pros

      The people are awesome. However, senior leadership lacks transparency and vision now that private equity is in charge. The direction is lost, communication is minimal and there doesn't seem to be a plan except move everything to a cheaper country. The people who built this company are being pushed aside for $$$$$

      Cons

      Being split off from Dell was the worst thing to happen to RSA. The culture has been ruined.
