      Pros

      Beautiful showrooms, and the People value really shines because the group of people working there is amazing

      Cons

      -Can't decide if they are a showroom or a design firm -Much of the product is poor quality -No consistency in scheduling, terrible work/life balance -Hour long meetings every day, wasting employee time and payroll dollars -During financial hardship in the company they "temporarily" laid off almost a third of the store staff, leaving us in the cold without warning before the holidays, without any indication of weather we would have jobs again. The situation was terribly managed by all involved and they could have been much more transparent that we were in a dire financial situation beforehand.

      Pros

      +Great company to get your foot into the corporate world. +Fast paced environment provides vast amounts of experience with a hot corporate brand in a short time. +There is opportunity to both advance and change career paths within the company +Many departments allow for limited work-from-home and flexible schedules so long as it doesn't interfere with overall productivity and general availability +Nice campus to come into work every day +Most people are friendly, smart, good intentioned and hard working +Personally - I like that everyone is generally too busy to stand around chatting

      Cons

      -No 401K match -Health plans could be more competitive -Can get frustrating and chaotic particularly due to the employee high turnover and a constantly changing company focus -Culture tolerates a disappointing attitude when it comes to respecting an individual's time both in the office and at home. (personal pet peeve is people checking their phone email during meetings) -Severely outdated retail systems compound the work and stress the company already demands from their employees - forcing more time to be spent on manual processing rather than productive decision making. -A competitive base pay salary (for the area) has to be negotiated

      Pros

      Nice environment for to work in. Furniture and decor is set up like a gorgeous million dollar estate.

      Cons

      Everything else excluding the environment. Managers don't manage well. Poor leadership qualities. They use the staff to get what they need without being thankful. Discount should be higher. Turnover is high! And because of the high turnover the staff now has to work extremely hard and it's exhausting. The moral is way down after a lot of great employees left due to micro-managing.
