Pros

RH has strong leadership at the top and the company’s vision and values are clear to everyone who works there.

Cons

The company has changed a lot in the last few years and some are more able to adapt than others. There are some growing pains around figuring out how to maintain the right amount of staff that fit the new model.

Pros

Ample overtime during holiday season (Mandatory at times) Clean working environment Air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter Nice Break Rooms 15 minute breaks instead of mandated 10 by the state

Cons

No 401k match Medical coverage is incredibly expensive/not competitive Customers are often irate and DEMAND COMPENSATION. You are provided a limit, but your name will come up on a report if you give out too many in a day/week/month and it gets reviewed by management. Work/Life Balance is horrible. Instead of offering shifts for your career here, they have shift bids where you may have to change your schedule without notice for the next 6 months-1 year, then do it all over again Very poor advancement opportunities. If you have been here a while and make good money, leads start at a lower rate than what you make. They do not let you keep your pay, but will take away your pay based on the starting hourly wage of the position. Pay is very bad for the area and the "luxury lifestyle experience". Starting on phones is $13 an hour in an area where a 1 bedroom runs $1,600 a month If they want to move you to a department you hate without notice, they will do it since "you are here for the customers" Completely demoralizing teams with gossip and back-stabbing abound You have to be able to make horrible things sound amazing if you want to be in management The systems are outdated and you have to bounce from 5 different screens on each call Standard Operating Procedures are changed on the weekly, making it very difficult to do your work in a consistent manner High stress, high productivity, no mistakes or you get written up, then fired High turnover rate. Don't bother getting to know your cubicle neighbor You are tied to your phone and NOT ALLOWED TO GET UP. You are given 5 minutes of "personal time" per day. So if your legs are falling asleep after an hour of sitting, you can't walk or stretch it off because you need to save your time just in case you need to use the bathroom This is the biggest concern, health! Since you are not allowed to walk or talk to anyone, you sit in a seat for 8 hours per day without moving. Anyone that starts here gains an average of 35 pounds within the first few months.

Pros

Better than the normal call center atmosphere. The people are great and the company encourages the team/family atmosphere.

Cons

Pay isn't based on experience. The furniture is overpriced and the quality isn't the best, which results in a bunch of issues.
