What kind of Real Estate company shuts its doors in the middle of the greatest Real Estate market boom of all time? One that is led by incompetent leaders. REX failed because of the incompetence and arrogance of its CEO . He listened to the advice of people who knew nothing about Real Estate. Those people single handedly began the destruction of REX with their ill informed ideas which included the disastrous concept of whole REX. The CEO didn't listen to the right people. He didn't listen to the agents that worked in the field. He often said REX is a tech company not a Real Estate company. A tech company whose website was a joke and whose app never worked properly. He failed this company but most importantly failed the good men and woman who worked for REX. On Friday REX laid off the majority of the remaining staff with NO severance pay. A slap in the face with no disregard to their livelihoods. FAIL! CEO had the nerve to dangle a carrot of a possible IPO. Lies
