Thank you for your feedback. In the manufacturing environment, there can be unplanned downtime that can affect production. It is important to REHAU that the issue is corrected quickly and properly. With these unexpected situations from time to time, we do our best to get back on schedule and ensure we fulfill our customers’ orders on time. This may lead to asking for extra help from our current employees for a temporary period of time. It takes a team to get the job done and we appreciate all our team members’ hard work especially in those times of unexpected circumstances because we could not be successful without their support!

At REHAU, we work hard to provide our employees opportunities to grow within the company professionally and have a long lasting successful career at REHAU. Thank you very much for your dedication and loyalty for over 10 years! REHAU is always proactively pursuing innovative ideas and solutions to help drive our business and keep us competitive in the new and existing markets. As the market continuously changes, we understand the important role that technology plays to provide quality service and products to our customers and ensure our business runs as efficiently as possible. We currently have technology platforms set up within REHAU and these teams are investing valuable time working to implement new technologies and making improvements to technology we currently apply at REHAU. Another focus within the company is the integration of digital transformation into all areas of the business, to change how we operate, deliver value to our customers and be flexible to the changes and opportunities of digital technologies that impact the market. Innovation especially in technology is one of REHAU’s top priorities and we recognize it is a necessity to continue to be a successful business and stay competitive in the market. Several examples of recently implemented new platforms include our new Marketplace for the Furniture Business as well as other new and updated internal systems. Not every implementation may directly affect your work and this is why you may not be aware of them all. We are talking about all of these exciting developments in our employee meetings and on the Intranet on a regular basis. However, your comments show us that we may need to improve our communication efforts so that our employees are more informed about our new technology developments, even if their specific work may not be immediately affected. We would like to thank you again for your long lasting dedication and for this valuable feedback that will help us to improve!

Pros

Great pay for the area. Plenty of time off. Atmosphere is often laid back and less stressful when compared to other tier ones or especially an OEM. Management is approachable. They may not always listen but they will give you time to talk.

Cons

Shortsighted management. Rehau does not invest in it's people with regards to training and increasing skills to the next level. We have managers and supervisors that have "worked" thier way up by simply being here a long time. While that is relevant to experience in the job it doesn't prepare them to actually be efficient and capable of actually managing anything. People skills, parts ordering, scheduling etc. Rehau global has a "training academy" that is under utilized here in the U.S.
