Pros

In the beginning, the work/life balance was great - there were several company-sponsored employee events with food and drinks during the workday. The benefits packages were amazing - huge 401(k) match, no cost health insurance, lots of paid time off.

Cons

As the company grew, new management came in and took over. All of the perks slowly went away and employee satisfaction was no longer important. It also became hugely apparent that people who didn't deserve promotions were getting them. Management didn't reward the hard workers, they rewarded the people who kissed the most butt and back-stabbed their co-workers.
