      RE/MAX Midtown Marketing Intern

      Pros

      I had started off as a marketing intern at RE/MAX Midtown last year. My experience working at RE/MAX has been an educational experience and has given me personal growth. I was able to work my way into the company through the guidance of the HR Manager and the CEO of RE/MAX Midtown. Ive learned the ins and outs of the Manhattan Real Estate Market through the teachings of my managers. And through that I was also encouraged to get my NYS Real Estate License. Thus allowing me to be an agent at the firm now. Being a prior intern helped me in many ways in the real estate field, and I have everyone at RE/MAX to thank.

      Pros

      Nice building with faux gold fixtures on the 12th floor. Plenty of attractive young people and a foosball table.

      Cons

      Lack of accountability in all leadership positions. In short... if you are a friend of Dave's -you have a job for life. If not, you are a piece of meat in a seat.

      Super Easy Job But Clueless Management

      Pros

      Easy job, people are enjoyable to be around, recognizable brand. Great location in the middle of DTC, free covered parking. Freedom to work on most anything you like to work on.

      Cons

      Management clueless on how to run a business. Management living on the curtails of the brand. No one really doing any real work nothing to move the business forward. No understanding of project management, process or even how to manage people.
