Pros

pay, workplace environment, supportive colleagues and a general feeling of support. I found that working here there was a fun atmosphere which fostered productivity.

Cons

At the time I was there, you had to work in a job one full year before moving to another position. Frustrating when you saw a perfect job within the company but weren't allowed to apply.

Pros

Re/Max gives its realtors a tremendous amount of personal freedom. The vast majority of people working in Re/Max offices are helpful and hardworking. Because of the nature of the job, the offices themselves are often empty. If you like sales and don't want to be behind a desk for 10 hours a day Re/Max may be for you. If needed (and for a price) there is plenty of support offered by the company. Re/Max gives its realtors a tremendous amount of personal freedom. Cons

The real estate market is in serious trouble and business for most mid-level realtors is drying up. This makes it very difficult to maintain a steady income with a commission based structure. Employee morale is generally low (as a result of the market) but Re/Max gives its advisers plenty of tools to build and maintain their businesses.
