Pros

I started as a call handler and after some time I got the opportunity to get involved in many projects, deepen my knowledge and over time I got a better position, so it is a place with good potential. The management is understanding and willing to help, Also, if they see potential in someone, they help as much as they can. At the time I was call handler, bonuses were great, but that was few years ago so dont know how is now. Great benefit is the hybrid work. Overall, a friendly place to work, lots of fun and interesting people work here.

Cons

The pay could be better, the pay for a position with more responsibility is not far from the pay of a call handler,

Pros

Fab working environment - lovely modern building with an excellent subsidised staff canteen. Managers are approachable and fair. Lots of perks (salary sacrifice perks scheme, full RAC breakdown cover for free incl. Europe for you and your whole household, free parking, rewards for top performance) NOT cold calling - calling existing RAC breakdown customers whose policies are about to expire. Extremely well paid considering no formal qualifications required.

Cons

As with all call centres you need to be flexible with hours worked as business needs change very quickly.

Friendly staff that really made me feel welcome and that I was a valued member of the team when I first joined the RAC and this has continued to be the case. Good working space and I feel there is a good work life balance. I have a good supportive manager that has actively encouraged and empowered me within my role. Good onsite facilities and ample free parking

Cons

For me personally in the role I do, I would struggle to find any reals "cons" as it were niggles perhaps but definably no cons
