Pros

Salary breakup is good in hand salary is good compared to CTC. Insurance and Sodexo is outside CTC. Work load and work life balance is really good

Cons

No opportunity of vertical growth . There is no manager in India . Maximum promotion that you can get is lead. Most of the existing managers are either demoted to lead or fired . Architects from india is rare. Learning is bad. Reluctant to adopt new things . Takes a lot of time to switch to new tech stacks or similar stuffs. I guess the reason is Quest is basically a lab who just develops own software and till the time software is working its useless for them to spend much on adopting new techs. Company provides VDI to work on ,and that is just painful. Very often VDI breaks and you might end up getting new VDI and setup everything in new VDI. No appreciation no motivation for any work . Yearly hike is pretty confusing . Rating and hike percent is never proportional . I know it happens in many companies but here its really absurd. Some 3 pointer gets 18% and some 4 pointer gets 4%, and 4 being highest.

Pros

Fulltime positions are available. Provides Recreation Center and Gym to employees. Friendly environment.

Cons

At times you feel like a robot because they care about the quantity of tasks being done rather quality. You aren't allowed to talk to your coworkers except for break times. They really care about the money you generate for the company, and they don't pay attention to how you as an employee feel at the job.

Pros

Some very intelligent coworkers. Impressive scale of business. Exciting science.

Cons

Horrible office politics, too easy for underperformers to "hide" and hamstring the organization. You will spend most of your days trying to save your boss' (or boss' boss') job, looking for someone else to blame, or kissing backside at HQ. Poor-to-mediocre pay. When I left, I got a 25% pay bump despite a step down in title and move to a lower-cost geography. Stock has gone nowhere for almost 3 years. Clinical franchises not empowered to launch products rapidly in quickly evolving markets. Everything is driven by ancient, one-size-fits-all processes. Fossilized organization does not adapt to business challenges. Upper management spends too much time patting each other on the back. Completely out of touch with the boots on the ground. Adversarial relationship between HR and employees, Quest HR is there to minimize their liability, not to look out for your interests. If you are bullied or sexually/racially harassed, document everything and see an outside lawyer. Limited development opportunities, unless you have toadied up to the right person and are owed a favor.
