      Good company with great benefits that are better than I have seen anywhere else.

      Pros

      Benefits that stand out over other companies is vanpool rides and more paid time off than other companies. Also there is the Blueprint for Wellness that gives money off of the monthly insurance premium for participating.

      Cons

      Immediate supervisor needs to learn how to be a supervisor. Manager also has a nasty disposition. He needs to learn people skills

      Lack of appropriate training, consistency towards reps and procedures. Turn over in management and reps is high.

      Pros

      The sales position is diverse and interesting . There are many aspects to closing a sale which with the proper support system on the inside, is very rewarding. Good Benefits.

      Cons

      Each Business Unit can be extremely different . Quest headquarters does not seem to be aware of significant problems at certain BU. The structure (or lack of) at certain lab units was difficult. Too much control between 1 or 2 upper management positions. To be successful in sales, you need to know much more than lab tests... once you figure it out yourself, you hope to have the support on the inside to complete the sale. Little regard to family/personal time for meetings, conference calls, etc. ex: (Sunday Feb. 14th 7:00pm conference call to introduce new upper mgt??) If the call is important, fine, but this sends a disrespectful message to sales. Not good judgement.

      Pros

      The employees of Quest (not Managers) are wonderful, compassionate people who pull together to get the job done. Great Collaboration between departments.

      Cons

      Micro-management, lack of communication trickling to employees. Lack of formal training on job functions or purpose within the department or company, more of a sink or swim mentality. To much politics involved in the treatment of the employees.
