Pros

You "work with a 5 star airline" and "travel the world"

Cons

Everything else. You are constantly watched, one small mistake equals severe punishment. You have a curfew because they don't care that you're an adult Your facebook posts, your instagram pictures or tiktok stories are MONITORED. They have a whole department just for this. But of course they call it "Cyber Security Department". They encourage reporting culture. Office people (Performance Managers) act like they get bonuses if they punish their crew. They expect you to work fly than 120+ hours monthly, you operate a 16 hour flight and get a 12 hour layover. By "operate" it means you are hounded to do a "round of drinks" every 30 mins, you are not allowed to sit down. You get punished if your toilet rolls are not folded in the triangle shape. Passengers are spoiled and treat their crew like servants because they know QR will never be on crew's side. You give a decade of loyalty and then you are told you are only replaceable, with 10,000 people from third world countries willing to work harder than you for half the pay. Other departments like cleaners or drivers are overworked because they get only 1 OFF every 2 WEEKS and are required to do 12 hour shifts under the heat of the sun. Media Blackout for anything against the company bec it is subsidized by the government. You can check the news sites, Qatar as a country has a lot of Human Rights Violations. The government does not care about Human Rights because they control the media. The international expose articles are far and few in between because the government is very litigous. NEPOTISM and POLITICS rampant in the office.

Pros

Product is award winning and fleet is the most modern. Elegant design.

Cons

They put in tall orders for a rapidly growing airline (not a healthy or realistic growth, but one that seems it is stimulated by the owner's ego and not his intelligence) and have lavish offices in the most expensive location in NYC but when you walk in the employees look bedraggled, unpolished and over worked.
