1. High turn over outfit ( cabin crew and pilots they just come and go ) there is reason behind. eg. I have seen people fired and cried at 3th floor too many times. Hire and fire cycle, believe me they really don't care. Management knows they can employ anybody from 3rd world countries anytime. Specially from Indie and African countries ( no offense ) (90% of employees) Seems like They hate people from Europe and develop countries because they know value and ethic and economical status of country doesn't allow them to be force to have this job. 2. The most arrogant management you can ever imagine ( 95% ) eg. After 2 years of service I was sick end up in hospital + 39 C temperature I could not operate the flights, even those I have try to operate the flight, so my sick was only 3 days after 2 years, and before maybe only 1 day sick for basic reason and guess what? I have been call to office and I get some file note! Even those I had all medical certificate and proof with pictures and many more include that after 2000 hours I was only maybe around 4 times not available due to sickness to work. This stop my promotion and explaining did not help. Thank you Mrs. Jy... 3. The Qatar airways management cheated crew with money to be paid for overtime! eg.In 2016 everybody who has flying duty of more than 950h in 12 months you should get 75% extra payment from every hour. Many crew had more than 950 hours, and guess what? Few days before salary come to account bank, they have send email without any explanation the extra hours will be paid from 1000h of duty! hahahah. Thank you management you own me about 10.000 ryials. Please note is illigal by Civial Aviation Authority to fly more than 1000 hours in 1 calendar year! 4. This is the most sick: Listen please my dears but you will not believe: The company force you to stay in your accommodation before flight! Eg. Before pick up to your job, which is around even 14 hours!!! you have to stay in your accommodation and you can go out only for 1h and 30 minutes during that time of your minimum,,arrest,, only once. ( how they can find out- simply you have swipe in and swipe out cards to your accommodation with video cameras outside ) You can not have any visitors! So they inter-meddling your private life! Wow! Dear Qatar airways management it is not your business what I am doing before and after my job! and 12 hours rest is the legal staff from IATA which means you can not have a work duty within that time. Is not like you have to stay and look at the roof. So it is should be legal action with all crew against your policy because you are limiting the freedom your employees. 5. You can not go out from 4am to 7am if you off or after work if you in Doha! eg. If they will find out you are fired! One girl she did have to pleased for job just because she did not manage to come back on time. This is serious staff. The boss ask her private questions like who she was seeing and many more, he kept her job, because she was honest. ( but normally the honesty in this company is not good for you, the company read ,,management,, because people make the company they are against crew, they really think they are gods and without any reason so soon or later they will give you one way ticket home , even they know people need job. 6. The story of this company was so many times in media, online, radio and still no effective changes was made. ( Vice president mrs Rossen even try to make changes and after 6 months everything comeback to the same situation. He left company ) Thank you mr.Rossen you have tried to change this. eg. Search online because while I have join I did not. ( I was thinking is rumor or people are just negative or they get fired and they tried to be smart ) I could not believe why they are like this. No one understand, believe me. 7. No visitors after 10pm again private life policy( I understand is Muslim country) but again and again eg. This goes direct into your private life, your balance of life, your mind , your freedom. even your mother can not visit you and now they make such thing like if you do not have qatari ID you can not go and visit your friend. So again rules, rules, you can not , you are not allowed even to have animal like fish! I am serious. Again no visitors 14 hours before departure of aircraft, no visitors after 10pm and before 7 am, no visitors who they do not have qatari ID, no living outside, no possibilities to rest and go to the beach before sunrise, no visitors if you are sick, (even for 5 minutes) 8. Exit permit from country! eg. like North Korea, your employer even for no reason, or if you are suspended they have computer system which they can make you to do not leave country even for 6 months if they wish. I am not joking, I had some issue create by sick senior who accuse of something which I did not do it, while I was going to my country for serious reason. I could not exit the country: Thanks for somebody higher , they let me go, because they knew I will inform all media is possible. 9. They can freeze your salary or they will not pay you until you come back to work;) eg.They freeze mine for +3 weeks or if you sick outside of country they are very smart they say even on training. Guys please record these people with spy voice record camcorder. They do not accept medical certificate from your countries, you do not get your last pay check, and even if you proof you are right you will be on radar and you get big warning. I am serious. I have seen. 10. They really treat you like they own you, like you are nobody for them, like they do not care , no support, no honesty, zero ethical value, they are very smart manipulates. 11. This is what crew always say: ,,Just do your job, be quite and take the money,, 12. This is another the best staff common know in ratak airways, you can not use your phone, even to have just on your leg, even to hold, if you are with uniform , even at the bus. I have seen one indian csd couple of times( could be anybody ) who say to crew: ,,are you allowed to use your phone?,, They made drama like crazy. It was in the bus transport. Well criminal offense to have the phone. 13. In qatar airways you are on your own. eg. The crew will not support you, they often rapport or they are scared or they close the eyes. ( no one like to go on days off to office , no one will risk the job) they make you picture and many more. the management will not support you in anyway ( I have tried ask for help with my crazy illegal roster, yes correct, they give me flight after flight, night, ultra long etc, I went to my manager to ask for help one month before the schedule, She said is legal, they have checked and after that they help me go home ;) I could not call sick or made fatigue rapport, because was obvious, once I have made fatigue rapport and they send me, you will not believe to Sociologist! ( in 3000 hours of flying I have made only 2 fatigue rapports. NO UNIONS, NO HUMAN RIGHTS, NO safe law Jurisdiction, No apostille, no help from ambasady. 14. Roster team This people can make your roster like you can cry. They can give you the worse destination or more than 100 hours or only few hours of duty.( so you do not get good salary ) No one knows who they are and what crew they like. and if you smart and you call sick on flights who you do not like because of tiredness, very short layover and very low passenger profile who vomiting in the sink or in cabin like is normal plus they abuse you with smile and ask for ever things is possible what is for free and you go on 4pm and you came back to home 8 am you will know what I mean ;) ( some destination are like this no layover , only layover for pilots) 15. Service cabin sequence: this management of service they are brainless, they do not focus on safety/ on medical related matters just , they focus on service, which are often made like nightmare for you and tired for passengers. 16. Reporting culture, abuse culture, bulling culture, rules culture, limited freedom culture, hate culture, fake culture, fake management, negativity, atmosphere on board of fear and punishment. 17. Every email if is complain from customer on your days off you have to go to office. ALL THE TIMES and you will get always file note, warning, advise letter, even if customer was like no company wish to have this person on board. They do not care. 18. Stress, overload of task, no creativity, no positives, atmosphere of ,,do you want to go to office?,, seniors favorite question ;) and many, many more. You can write the book I think. Dear person who you are reading this, thank you and please think before applying there. My opinion is based on over 3 years of work for this company with true opinion and fact finding. The company until today did not say sorry to me and to many crew, they did not refund me the money for extra hours and they have never response to my emails.
