Beware of joining a company posing as Qatar Airways. Recently, an IT branch was supposedly opened in Ahmedabad, and people with various qualifications were hired with promises of attractive packages. However, these offers lack clarity, and many, including myself, resigned due to these issues. Here are several red flags to be aware of before joining:
1. No clear breakdown of your package in the appointment letter.
2. Promises made during hiring turn out to be misleading.
3. Every Monday, a representative comes from Qatar, giving exaggerated promises about the company’s future.
4. Projects are outdated, using technology from around 10 years ago.
5. There is no methodology used in projects, making it challenging to work in a professional manner.
6. The HR department lacks an understanding of how IT companies operate and the specific needs of IT employees.
7. No clear process for final settlement after resignation. They claim it will be settled in 45 days, but this rarely happens on time.
8. Essential documents, like the relieving letter, are not provided after resignation unless explicitly requested, and even then, they may delay or deny it.
These are serious concerns to consider before making any career decisions with this company.
