Not a desirable place to work

Pros

No set rules, and no management.

Cons

After working at QA for almost a year, I was so unhappy and fit up with the management BS and lies. There's a total lack of leadership skills and technical expertise which the management is always looking for ways to cover up with BS reasons. Employees are just diligent working bees without any transparency from the bosses. A high volume of employee turnover happened since I started last year with a range of 12-15 people who left the company both voluntarily or involuntarily. Many people have been let go with indecent management decisions. If you're looking for job security and mature management structure, don't work for this place.

Pros

The work is interesting and important

Cons

The new top management has no strategy or vision. They lack experience and are each other’s best mates. The message is communication is not needed. Serious people and many of them say they need to go. The senior managment think this is because they are new. Its not. They are just messing up. Fear is replacing collaboration.

There are some lovely people that work here.

Cons

Management do not listen to the ideas of those beneath them and put off improvements as long as they can whilst the front line staff suffer. Lack of training, direction and coaching for long term employees. Not much awareness on how to take care of staff who are struggling with their mental health - you almost feel like a burden for struggling or having low confidence due to personal challenges. I worked here for 7+ years and worked my way up through various teams trying my best - only to give my notice in when finding a new opportunity and not even get a leaving card or a goodbye and good luck from management and hardly a chance to say goodbye to colleagues. Not how you’d expect to be treated by a company that prides itself on “how well it treats its staff”.
