There are some nice local co-workers

Having worked at a few companies in this industry it is shocking how awful things are at Q2. Leadership burries their head in the sand when issues are pointed out, then blames its employees when it can no longer be ignored. From nepotism at the highest levels to sheer neglect and incompetence towards daily processes, the frustration employees face is endless. There is no clear direction if you are new and no support if you are seasoned. You will be stressed, you will be overwhelmed, and if you try and work to improve things you will be ignored or worse.

Location. Small town. Outdoor recreation. Ivy League college town. Good people/ colleagues, but...

Cons

One word: Don’t. This company will destroy your life and kill your career in every aspect. Management has zero respect for employees’ time or career growth. They will extract everything and leave you with nothing. Management has zero ethics. Lying is the norm. Revolving door in many functional groups. They are permanently looking for new employees. Very high turnover.

Pay is below industry normal.

Cons

If you work in IT, be prepared to deal with manic management that is not empathetic. Expect to be harassed by multiple leaders about the same problem. Weekend work, 3am work, constant calls after work hours. Escalations raised to your manager if you do not reply in minutes. Pointless blame keeps everyone on edge and aggressive, and afraid to speak up about foreseeable problems. Avoid at all costs. This job is not worth impacting your life and zero career growth and training.
