      Master Slave Work Culture

      Pros

      PwC SDC (Slave Delivery Center) is a typical body shopping company. They are only concerned with per hour billing, Highly unethical and selfish Management. Here they treat employees as Donkeys and believe that anyone can do anything (Developer is made to do DTP , Testing work).

      Cons

      At PwC SDC(Slave Delivery Center) there is no training's provided. Employees are the product whom they sell to make revenue. The more an Employee (Donkey) can be billed the happier the management. They bill one resource for 16 hrs/day on different projects and pay employees peanuts.

      Pros

      Flexible timings. Initial pay will be good. Shift allowance is excellent

      Cons

      I have been with SDC for more than 4 years. Till now the employee strength was less but recently they are hiring in hordes. So this has resulted in single digit hike starting as low as 4% even though I was billable for the entire year. Bonus is also peanuts. Worked like anything for the entire year. Even though rating was good. The hike really really disappointed me. Earlier we used to get individual cabs when working in second shifts. Now we dont have individual cabs and we need to share with other guys. Cab timings are also fixed so you need to stay from 1 to 10 PM no matter what if you need a cab. It has become more of a call center kind rather than a IT company. Awards & Recognitions are given to those who just get familiar without working much and who just speak more rather than those who actually toil on the project day and night. Need to fight for cubicles as they have a very small office. Onsite opportunities is less and also onsite pay is just 50$/day. Onsite work will be very hectic with less time for personal time.

      Pros

      A small group of employees in SDC hence exposure is really good. A lot of projects recently. Many proejcts are in shift. the shift allowances are great

      Cons

      Recent managers who joined are not as good as the existing ones. They carry the indian service based managment style and practices. Lack of planning for projects. no free food / transportation, if anybody wants to know.
