      Great exposure

      Pros

      PwC provides staff with great exposure to different clients and industries. Our clients are amongst the largest in the world, and in NYC, your exposure to extremely large clients is a given. I have had the opportunity to work on a number of Advisory Technology related engagements, and have had exposure that is uncomparable to in-house staff at the same level. PwC provides opportunities to lead others MUCH earlier than you would have working in industry. They really throw whatever you can handle at you.

      Cons

      Lack of follow-through that is available when working in house. Alot of consultant speak and assess and run.

      PwC - it is BIG but professional

      Pros

      highly skilled and highly educated network of professionals in an international environment. Especially within Advisory the fields we work in are so diverse it will certainly help you quench your curiosity thirst. There is an open direct culture and expects you to communicate and network. The compensation is competitive and there are plenty of extras. You are pretty much free to make your own time. Working at home for some days in the week is no problem as long as you get your job done

      Cons

      The partnership model has of course its disadvantages. It is very political inside and you need a lot of networking to get something done which could be overthrown in a day again.
