Pros

On the higher branch you are, more benefits you have (monetary, mobile, company car, bonus system, share buy options etc) Rather interesting production, lot of factories world wide.

Cons

Benefits are strictly hidden (eg employees do not know what might be benefits if they plan to apply to higher position) Lot of people who's actual role in company is not understandable Lot of people/positions are overloaded and no allowance to hire engineers You have to be clever as fox to avoid new tasks and always say "that is not my job", otherwise you'll be targeted by everyone Management thinks that 20% people turnover in office is totally normal, number is even higher in production.

Pros

You can get away with doing almost nothing and you get paid the same as the best workers.

Cons

Crowded, unsafe, old broken equipment, micromanagement of competent workers with no oversight of useless workers.
