Pros

- Amazing PTO accrual. - Good benefits. - Annual bonus and decent annual salary increase. - Lower level employees have a pretty decent work/life balance.

Cons

- Executive leadership doesn't seem to know what they're doing, and definitely don't seem to care about their employees. They try to paint a rosy picture of everything while ignoring employee concerns, and it's all very see-through and patronizing. - Healthcare is a tough market to be in right now. - Very few opportunities for growth.

Confusing Org Structure

Pros

Taking PTO to get away from this toxic work culture.

Cons

Premier is the only company I’ve ever worked for that has a confusing org structure and has people in duplicative roles. Layers of VPs, Customer Success functioning very similarly to Member Field Services Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers. Promoting people who don’t deserve it just because they know someone. Also, a company who is so focused on Values and DEIB. PLEASE take a look at the E-team. I see absolutely no diversity there with the exception of two people.

Pros

There are some extremely intelligent, hardworking and helpful people who work here. The pay and benefits are average.

Cons

Be prepared for constant change with no real direction of where you are going and what you are supposed to do. Since 2019, Customer Success (CS) has re-org'd every 9-12 months, resulting in no one knowing what their roles and responsibilities are. This is a direct reflection of CS leaders' inability to develop a sound strategy and actually be able to implement it. In essence, CS leaders talk a good game but have no clue about developing strategy, operationalizing it, and leading teams, as most have been promoted because of who they know rather than because of any value they bring. There is no work-life balance, and if you are a good worker, they will exploit you by overloading you with accounts and additional work. When you ask CS leaders for their input to aid in bringing our members value, they talk a "good" game but they don't have anything to offer.
