Pros

Employee scholar program is robust

Cons

Upper management is out of touch. Spent millions on reorganizing office space for an "office of the future" only to request engineers (nobody else) to return to the office 4 days a week and begin rearranging the office again. Its also very easy to get hired into a group thats slammed with work and work-life balance will be at a minimum. Interesting product but if youre looking for a good work life balance or decent compensation, stay away.

Pros

Iconic Company, well-respected as an aviation OEM, great opportunity to learn and understand what goes on behind the technical and business aspect of the company. A great opportunity for an up and coming engineer to learn.

Cons

Incredibly stagnant old-school management style prevalent amongst middle managers. Upper management has good initiatives and talks a good talk but in practice, they allow inexperienced middle managers to treat people with total disrespect, creating a toxic work environment while looking the other way. And don't even try to go to HR as there will be retaliation like it or not and nothing will be done about it. I got caught up with Lay-offs and my most recent manager who had given me good reviews could not do anything for me, Unfortunately ... safely avoided my calls and emails and one can only assume why. Overruled by my previous manager who was a member of the inner circle. It did not matter how many hours of OT one puts in or the dedication to your job, you are left to feel like you are just another number. Expandable and disposable...

Pros

Wfh with covid. Vacation time

Cons

Pay. Yearly raises (merely an inflation adjustment). Executives don't value employees opinions. Office of the future setup is cheap. Health benefits are pathetic for how big the corporation has become. Overly politicized policies and atmosphere
