Pros

Not many. They offered a nice education benefit, however while I was utilizing this benefit it was discontinued. Pratt and Whitney put me in debt without warning me. The paid time off is good...you'll need it. Anual BBQ and gift.

Cons

Overtime is nonexistent Constant problems with my paycheck. I didn't get a 90 day review. I only got a 35 cent raise after a year, despite having an exemplary quality and attendance record. Processes are antiquated for the level of production desired. Engineers do not communicate with people on the floor. The Blueprints look childish and are often incorrect. Benefits are not what they appear to be and are occasionally altered or taken away completely. The climate control system does not work. Parking! Most days I had to park a full mile from the area I worked in. If I was late because of it then I would lose my shift differential that day. Management didn't care. Unchecked Harrasment. I was harrassed and spoke up about it. Management and human resources did nothing. The reason I quit.

Pros

Very smart individuals work there. Pride in the product they make. Endless job opportunities.

Cons

Horrible work/life balance. Minimal respect for free time outside of the office. Unrealistic deadlines and fire drills. Immense pressure to deliver. Stupid amounts of meetings and powerpoint presentations. Very arrogant culture. Mgmt cares more about metrics than people. Not enough resources to prepare for future.

Cons

If you are in the wrong department, you could face blocking/sabotage, which is what I’ve experienced. I have had my supervisor intimately involved in my interview process. Wanting to know all the details, and I think that’s inappropriate. All they need to do is very
