      Not worth it if you are working in Philips India

      Good number of leaves and employee discount on select Philips items

      Cons

      Working at Philips India often feels like being in the engine room of a massive cruise ship. While colleagues in the EU seem to enjoy a carefree fine dining experience, we, in the engine room, bear the brunt of project delays, working tirelessly on weekends and late nights. The result? Sometimes just a pat on the back and empty congratulatory messages. Additionally, the systems we work with can be frustratingly slow and prone to breakdowns during critical tasks. If you're seeking an environment that challenges your patience and potentially hampers your career growth, Philips India might be the right place for you.

      A large company with a well-established business model.

      Cons

      Tons of work and little pay. It seems selective about who gets paid fairly and who doesn't. Lots of very racist employees, especially from Europe and the USA. HR is completely useless to end the cycle.

      Philips GBS is destroying the legacy of Philips Innovation

      Good perks, food, car lease scheme etc.

      Cons

      Toxic work culture in Philips GBS, office politics, even if you generate multi million dollar value to Philips business, you will be rated as a poor performer since you don't contribute to GBS back office. GBS Analytics (GDMA) especially is a crap and they never do real analytics rather they don't let you perform advanced analytics. Performance management is pathetic. They set a performance target of 300k savings for a manager handling 10-20 people and they also set 200k for one manager who doesn't manage a team. Poor mathematics.
