Management Roulette

Pros

During my time here I have met some of the most incredible researchers who truly care about patient lives. Knowledgeable, humble, amazing people to work with.

Cons

Whether or not you are going to have a good experience with a supportive group will depend on management and there are some stinkers that make life miserable for everyone around them. Pfizer really doesn't have a way of reporting or helping or getting rid of them in order to mitigate damage to the team and stakeholders. I can count the number of weekends I've had off since I started working here on one hand. Emails sent at 5 pm on Friday for critical work. No support.

Pros

Good pay, flexible working time, good social engagement iniciatives

Cons

Many overloaded with work, too many systems, too many stakeholders, making clinical trials execution even more complex and inefficient. Too many changes (new come before the recent ones have been established properly) and big rotation of staff in projects.
