Pros

Flexible WLB and benefits are very good.

Cons

Good for junior/starters in pharma industry to gain experience. Very toxic culture for mid career or senior people to advance. Rumor mills everywhere. Time to next re-org is always 12 months or less. Confusing guidance from clueless management. Heavy fight between departments that are already overlapping in remits and makes doers confused and frustrated on daily basis.

Pros

- GREAT benefits - A generally professional and friendly workplace

Cons

- Constantly expected to do more with less, nearly everyone is doing the critical parts of what used to be 2-3 jobs. - Never ending restructurings, layoffs, and system changes have people burnt out after too many years of instability. - Politics drive starting to drive policies more than business needs. Decisions are top down from the global level and don’t deliver nearly the value the higher ups think they do. Pushing back is beginning to feel risky, and they don’t seem to care to listen to the people representing those closest to the process. - Workplace flexibility has tanked thanks to a recent 5 day/ week return to office policy, which has been instated for nearly every role. This policy does not factor in how much of a job is computer based, nor does it take into account historical performance in a hybrid setting or any special circumstances that make being in office full time nearly impossible for colleagues who have always worked in a hybrid setting. - Management not in tune with who is actually delivering results in different areas. Goes back to politics over meaningful policy.

Pros

Good benefits and relatively good salary for little work

Cons

This company only focus on appearances and politicking over scientific rigor or real purposeful work. Very little effort was made to truly integrate Seagen culture and talent. So many wasted resources on initiatives that are doomed to fail and on protecting oneself from the next layoff. If you prioritize tangible impact or purpose, avoid.
