This place is FULL of corruption which will eventually ruin your career and you will find yourself severely impacted by it in more than one way. Petrobras America Inc. sold most of their assets in the GoM for nothing and laid off ~90% of their workforce, which did not make any sense other than that it was another corruption scheme that ended up benefiting key individuals (managers and VP's) at Petrobras and Petrobras America. Their whole bussiness model here in the US was most likely a money laundering operation rather than an E&P O&G operation...Also when laying off their 90% workforce, they gave tiney severance packages that did not even compare to other and even smaller E&P O&G companies... So, in conclusion, don't waste your time and your best years in a company that will throw you to the curb and not appreciate anything you've done for them....I wasted 10 years there and had so many other opportunities during that time that I now feel I should have gone for...
