Ability to get started as an auto tech on the flat rate system. Time for each job is a little low and often hurt by the headaches of old cars but the nice thing is that most of the parts needed can be sourced from the retail side of the store which means most jobs can be done while customer waits. Master techs willing to put in lots of hours can make a ton of $$

Cons

The flat rate guarantee is only 60% so unless you work more than 40 hours it can be tough to book high productivity.
