Pros

-If you are new you learn a lot -Really friendly employees -A lot of experienced people due to the industry -Seems to have a lot of great company values and competitive pay/ benefits

Cons

-Really old building, since it is a retail company I can see how a modern environment might not be a priority. They have been focused on improving their actual stores so I'm guessing this takes a back seat -Occasional slow days and occasional long hours but that comes with the territory

Working at pep boys was actually my first job. Interview was very easy since I was guaranteed a job. Management was awesome. They really looked out for all their employees and were very fair to everyone.

Pay and almost no room to grow

They hire anyone. You can move to a higher position. They sometimes provide training. If you are an elite, and cool with the manager, and never mess up cars, you can talk your way into a raise.

Cons

They hire anyone. A LOT of politics, gossip and fights between departments. Raises come sparingly. Sometimes you have to show up at 6:00AM
