Pros

PayPal has a very good environment. People are very friendly and always available when you need help. All the employees are very competent and share their knowledge. The business is doing very well which makes day to day work very exciting.

Cons

It is a relatively small office and it is not clear what possible career advancements could be. Most of the employees are contractors or on short term contract. Also, similar companies offer higher salaries.

company still believes in ethics and team work open, cooperative atmosphere competitive salary/benefits genuine interest in having happy, satisfied employees

Cons

rapid growth has created some situations where our processes lag behind our needs, especially when working across different teams in the organization lots of opportunities to do things more efficiently and predictably; still a little too much of the start up "just do it" approach

Pros

PayPal continues to grow even during difficult economic times. I think PayPal is the crown jewel of eBay, Inc. PayPal continues to innovate (Developer platform, mobile etc) PayPal compensation is pretty competitive with the Market

Cons

Paypal development environment is challenging. Over the last few years though it has gotten better there is still lot of room for making it fun for the developers. This leads to work-life balance issues.
