Pros

Peers, flex schedule, perks, activism, Cafe onsight, childcare onsight, pto. On sight garden and laying hens. Helpful security onsights daily. Incentive for biking or carpooling to and from work. Like minded earth conscience peers. Recycling information and processes at the front of your daily activities.

Cons

They claim to be transparent and would like to promote from with in . In reality the past year I have witnessed the available positions that become available filled with new hires from outside when those who have been employed there for years with the qualifications in hand apply to be rejected. Several different committees formed only to be a place to gather to continuesly speak of the injustices only for the favoritism and unbiased prejudice continue? Leadership positions continue to be filled with those that fall into the malable type personalities or the friends and family contacts. Not filled by someone who posess the skills, knowledge or experiences. I have witness these new hires come aboard and instantly become entitled to shorter work weeks with no accountability to their hired positions. They bring with them changes sometime good, some making no sense at all. A well intended plan or change of a process is usually thoroughly thought through before execution, having to constantly do a do over or go back to how we used to do things is tiresome. Leadership rolls should be with the pretense of a probationary period if they meet the positions expectations great if they don't that's it ok too, and there's the door. Or offer a position that better suits their capabilities and skills.
