A mess on the inside

Pros

Legendary company, that is very good at making a big moment to disrupt the industry.

Cons

Patagonia is like the pretty girl in high school - everyone admires from the outside, but once you get to know her, she is a hot mess. You have to be very comfortable with rounds of bureaucracy for approvals, good ideas only come from a few people, and very archaic systems/ways of working. Outside of the big PR moments, Patagonia is very old school and not on the cutting edge of a work environment. This has created an environment where people are completing overworked and gaslit for voicing their concerns.
