Looks great from the outside.

Pros

The company culture and story could inspire people to break away from fast fashion and to become interested in sustainability and equality. Cool events. Networking.

Cons

No benefits other than a discount. Expected to be knowledgable, skilled and clean in a minimum wage job. No opportunities to advance unless you suck up to superiors and fake being something that you're not. Under the surface, it's the same as any other exploitative clothing brand but with an environmenta twist. Partially fair trade. Employees are not paid a living wage, from a billion-dollar company this is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. Retail staff are disposable and the mission of Patagonia has become diluted as those in charge care more about profit and image than the planet and people.
