Pros

Work from home policy can be very flexible - 3-5 days from home Salary tends to be higher than average Benefits are about average

Cons

Only few people get promotions and continue to do so Not many career path is available. You could be stuck with your career Too many layers of managements - too slow and inefficient. Too many "know-it-all" people who only talk yet there aren't many people who can actually do the work.

Pros

Overall great work culture. Awesome benefits, work/life balance. Other colleagues are willing to assist you when help is needed to learn various systems. Company helps its employees to reach professional goals.j

Cons

Sometimes individuals that have been working at a company for a period of years shouldn't automatically qualify them for a position. Sometimes it may be the luck of the draw when you get a non supportive Manager.

Pros

Co-workers tend to be very friendly and helpful. They are under the same pressures as you and you learn to support each other. Salary is competitive, especially for a CRO. It is a job if you need one but certainly not a career.

Cons

Upper management is not supportive of their employees; only interested in the company and/or themselves. Do not count on support if things don't go according to plan. Benefits are average for a CRO but not what you will find at a pharma company and the 401(k) is especially disappointing. Resourcing is especially a problem. Projects don't have enough people so quality and timelines suffer but leaders will tell you to "be creative" and find other ways to deliver the project. Frequent organizational changes and layoffs especially in the last 2 years. No obvious career path for most roles. If you want to get ahead you will probably have to quit and work somewhere else.
