Beware

Pros

-salary is decent -co workers are great -decent PTO and mediocre health care

Cons

-PE owned and huge push to cut costs which means your role will be stretched thin. -Because everyone is stretched thing, you won't receive much help/time from your manager or co workers. Be prepared to be thrown in the deep in. You're responsible for swimming. No one will help you if you start to sink

Pros

Work can be interesting (if you are on those projects) Salaries are OK. Benefits are good - but they have been getting worse over the last few years (changing us vacation policy mid year was a total disaster) Plenty of experience in remote work.

Cons

Multiple years of layoffs Total disconnect between management and reality Seems to enjoy adding onto and changing process so nobody really knows what they are supposed to do and thus nothing actually seems to get done Totally unclear what Pamplona are really trying to accomplish. They overpaid for the company and seem to be struggling to find any sort of coherent strategy to get a return on their investment. Constant tension between Geographic areas. Lots of PowerPoint jockeys - there are only so many vaporous management school BS slide decks I can read in a day -

Pros

Work-life balance. No other pros.

Cons

Racism and bullying towards employees. Poor quality people with no professional behaviour or experience. Favoritism. Rellocation of unqualified staff from overseas when experienced people from within the UK were available. Lack of inclusion and lack of mixed cultures.

Parexel is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment and will never tolerate any form of discrimination, racism or hatred of any kind. Our culture of inclusion means that everyone is valued, respected and supported and this commitment extends beyond our internal teams to our patients, customers and partners. Our “We care” guiding principle and “Respect” core value are not hollow words; they were chosen carefully to speak to who we are as an organization and as a culture. We encourage our colleagues to speak out and raise any concerns with HR. No colleague should be made to feel that they do not belong or feel uncomfortable in the workplace.
