      Great name, but don't be wooed to quickly

      Pros

      A strong name that carried those looking to make moves in the industry to higher pay and titles elsewhere. The laid-back culture on the business side of the company (vs creative) has turned more corporate in recent years, but it's still a young, smart and creative workplace.

      Cons

      Politics were rampant, work-life balance suffered from time to time and pay left much to be desired even after a few years actively contributing to the firm.

      Pros

      You can disappear in a network of offices, work lazy hours and have little responsibility.

      Cons

      Fake benefits, no job security, salaries that are FAR BELOW industry standards, Times Square foot traffic, little vertical career movement.

      Pros

      Great benefits, some great projects, lots of flexitime and cool events and some great experiences, pro-social initiatives. If you're starting out this is a great place to start your career. Having MTV on your resume does still open doors.

      Cons

      Budgets are tight but this does not apply to some Execs spending - who seem to spend their budgets like personal cash, whilst others are fighting for a few dollars. People in positions of seniority with a lack of management ability. A lack of visibility.
