Pros

Great people - the company is a mix of young and old, but most people appreciate initiative and humor, and the majority of people don't take themselves too seriously. Benefits - strong benefits package, though 401(k) matching no longer offered. Large corporation - Plenty of people to meet and things to learn. Great parties - holiday and otherwise, just make sure you get invited.

Cons

Large corporation - not a whole lot of accountability. Crappy growth - you'll feel that ceiling hard. Overworked and Underpaid - Say goodbye to your social life! Bureaucracy - runs rampant. Red tape will be your new worst enemy. Gone is the music, so is the fun - with the departure (dismissal) of Judy Mcgrath, the flicker of life that was left in the company is gone. Corporate Viacom runs everything and effectively interferes with the company. MTV isn't what it used to be, that's for sure.
