Pros

Generally, a lot of the VP and below level folks are amazing. The benefits are decent if you take advantage of them. And it's fun to say you work for a company with brands that are household names. If you survive layoffs, you could stay for a while.

Cons

For the last 10 years or so, there has been a large round of layoffs every couple years. Pay is not great, but fine. A common practice to a higher salary there is working at the company, leaving it, and coming back. SVP and above barely know what they're doing and are mostly out of touch. A lot of people "fall up"

Pros

The people are always the best part. The benefits and perks are great too.

Cons

The instability is nerve wrecking, you're constantly worried you will get let go, especially during these times. Unfortunately, it catches up to you

Pros

The experience is excellent due to the different technologies you are exposed to. Also, this name on your resume experience will stand out to other employers in the media industry.

Cons

Currently, there is downsizing going on and many great employees were let go.
