Pros

- interesting, well established brands (MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon,...) - good product mix: linear TV, VoD, websites, apps, social media, off-air events and so on - nice office in Berlin - good for juniors/ entry-level employees - diversified tasks - connects TV with music industry - you can learn a lot about linear and non-linear tv

Cons

- too many reorganisations - due to reorganisations, people lost their jobs, were relocated to other countries or had to work in another department/ team - no fair payment, negotiation is difficult - regional business is very dependent from US headquarter - too much politics - many longtime employees left the company

Pros

Very nice people, a mix of millenials and folks in their 40's, 50s. Relaxed atmosphere with lots of perks, parties, ops to network. The company embraces its core values of accountability, integrity and creativity. New and exciting content is on the way per the last town hall meeting. It's looking better, looks like they're spending more money on writers & on-camera talent.

Cons

From where I'm sitting, there's no room for growth. But I heard of 2 or 3 promotions in the last year. The company definitely needs to move more aggressively into the digital landscape. I don't think the infighting among upper management over money and power right now is really helping the company move forward fast enough in this context. There needs to be a stronger focus on the company's short and long-term goals rather than on who deserves to inherit the bulk of Sumner Redstone's wealth/power. It's a shame that it's come to the point that a piece of Paramount has to be sold to pay the bills.
