Pros

Great top management, borderless opportunities, standard but not fab benefits. Access to people who listen.

Cons

Middle managers obstruct growth for self-preservation. High competition for every position creates insecurity and lower pay ceiling. HR is employer loyal. Can't be counted on.

Pros

Stable company with backing by CBS. There are a lot of really great people that work there, and more coming and going each week.

Cons

Salaries and raises are no where near industry norms. Upper management has very little interest or connection with middle to lower level of employees, no matter how much they try to pretend they do. The best people leave due to lack of challenges, which leads to career growth stunting. Truly excellent people have been let go, as well, because people above them have no concept for how to appropriately challenge them.

Thanks so much for your comment, we appreciate the feedback and advice you gave. In regards to our compensation philosophy, we work closely with our CBS Corporate compensation partners as well as our internal compensation ranges when hiring new employees as well as adjusting current employees. We do realize that we are currently lacking a bonus structure, and are actively looking at ways to enhance this compensation element for our employees. We believe that one of the perks of being backed by CBS is the plethora of opportunities available to our employees, both in CBSi and within the other CBS divisions. There is no shortage of challenges within our business and we are consistently promoting internal movement and job changes across our division, and other CBS divisions. I apologize that you weren’t able to take advantage of one of these opportunities to enhance your career growth while you were with CBSi. In the future, we hope to do a better job of proactively presenting these types of opportunities to our employees.
