Great company with not so great outlook

Pros

Lots of friendly, smart people. Most everybody is enthusiastic about their work. Social events with free food and drinks. Beer nights Foosball and pingpong tables, hoops, arcade games. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Bonuses are paid in company's stock. Annual raise is a joke. Turnover in development is quite high due to low compensation. The company is heavily restructuring to comply with CBS corporate demand of returns on their 1.6 B investment. Entire teams are outsourced to EU and Asia. As of about a year ago, questionable choices of technological renovations where budget precedes quality and reliability. Current outlook of the company as an entity is grim.

Cons

If you are not part of a clique you will not get promoted (basically they want you to kiss ass) They have VP's with HS Diplomas and do not know how to manage people. (if you have a college degree, you are considered a threat) So many employees complained to HR about race, age, gender discrimination but their complaints were swept under the rug.
