If you're the kind of person that believes authority is for the taking/owning (rather than a reward bestowed) and can seek out the extremely rare brilliant leader or two - collaborate and execute on actual (read quantifiable) business goals (short and long term) - you stand the chance of having a very fulfilling experience. If you're in the correct role and department, Viacom does compensate well.
Cons
Be prepared to be surrounded by legions of territorial, redundant mid-level executives. Be prepared to have a meeting about the meeting before the meeting.
